18th Annual New Mexico Ag Expo Chair
Portales, NM — Patrick Kircher has been chosen to serve as the chair of the 2010 New Mexico Ag Expo to be held on February 23 & 24, 2010 at the Roosevelt County Fairgrounds in Portales, NM. Kircher has served on the Ag Expo Committee since 2003 and has organized the educational seminars and demonstrations since 2008. Topics to be discussed this year include wind energy, horse and dog training, alfalfa management, calf weaning, animal welfare and small vertebrate control.
Kircher also serves the agricultural community as the Roosevelt County Agriculture Agent for the New Mexico State Cooperative Extension Service. He served as the Roosevelt County 4-H Agent for 4 ½ years prior to accepting the position as Ag Agent. He lives outside of Elida with his wife Jeanne, and children, Savannah, Kaitlyn, Cole, and Carson.
